Cristian Moreno - Lead & Background Vocals
Cristian Moreno is a Mexican American who grew up on the southwest side of Chicago in the Pilsen Neighborhood. Earnest and introspective, his melodic tones and signature belting stem from strong influences within the Grunge Rock era. His main musical influences are Chris Cornell, Jeff Buckley, and Brandon Boyd.
Starting his musical career in high school as a trumpet player, Cristian competed at Berkeley College of Music in Boston in 2011 and 2012 in a Latin Jazz Ensemble. He graduated and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained a Criminology degree by the spring of 2016 and shortly after began working as a litigation paralegal.
Enjoying the night life Chicago has to offer, he discovered his passion for singing at the age of 22 through venturing to Karaoke bars all over Chicago. Cristian doubled down on his love for singing by taking vocal lessons and countless hours of practice. Through this ambition, he was able to cement his place as a lead singer in the band Away from Wolves and other duo side projects. He is currently recording a professional rock album that will be released by the end of 2021.
